On July 12, the routes implemented by the Aeromar company were inaugurated, which will reinforce the national and international connectivity of San Luis Potosí by offering direct flights and stopover services with McAllen, Monterrey, and Puerto Vallarta, informed Arturo Esper Sulaimán, secretary of Tourism.
The opening event, which was held at the San Luis Potosí airport, was attended by the director of the San Luis Potosí International Airport, Marco Camarera; the director of FIDETUR, Juan José González as representative of the State Tourism Secretariat and the Marketing manager of Aeromar, Cristian Vaca Olvera.
“The tourist reactivation of San Luis Potosí is a reality and it would not be possible without the impulse of companies that are committed to giving that dynamism and strength of connectivity to our State. We are pleased with these new flight frequencies that Aeromar adds with San Luis Potosí because it speaks of the confidence of Aeromar with us, but also, this new flight speaks of the great offer that our destination boasts, to generate opportunities for relaxation, investment, or business “, commented the director of FIDETUR Juan José González.
For his part, Juan Ignacio Rosello, commercial director of Aeromar stressed that connecting with beach destinations with high tourist potential is an enormous opportunity for recovery, and they are confident that these routes will greatly benefit the reactivation of tourism and predicted success for the McAllen, Monterrey, San Luis Potosí and Puerto Vallarta routes.
The introductory single trip rates are: from Monterrey to San Luis Potosí from $ 999.00 pesos; from McAllen to San Luis Potosí $ 139.00 dollars; from McAllen to Monterrey $ 109.00 dollars.
Previously, for the frequencies that connect to Puerto Vallarta, the introductory rates in force until July 4 were the following: Monterrey-Puerto Vallarta 1,199.00 pesos and San Luis Potosí-Puerto Vallarta 1,099.00 pesos.
Aeromar also offers the benefit of being able to make changes to the flight date at the stopover point, subject to certain restrictions. This allows passengers who fly from Monterrey total flexibility in their trip to enjoy each of the destinations in a single itinerary.

Finally, the commercial director of Aeromar said that rigorous health protocols are implemented that include the mandatory use of face masks, as well as the sanitation of common spaces, sanitary filters, antibacterial gel dispensers, and respecting the healthy distance for the safety of passengers.
