From yesterday until Sunday, June 27, the sixth Craft Fair of the Municipality of Querétaro will be held. This will be based in the Paseo Querétaro square. The hours of operation are from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. This was indicated by Joaquín González de León.

The official added that in response to the spaces provided by this commercial square and in attention to the guidelines on health, this Fair will have 22 stands for the sale of various handmade products.

“In this Fair participate, as we have done, without discriminating against anyone, artisans of the Municipality of Querétaro. Also, artisans from Amealco and we also have artisans who express their culture and who have been living in Querétaro for many years. These come from other states such as Guanajuato, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Guerrero, Veracruz, Mexico City, Jalisco and Nayarit. This is a coordinated work with the craft groups, the Paseo Querétaro square, the Municipality and we want these activities to continue, “he said.

Joaquín González de León highlighted that along with the sale of wood and clay crafts, textiles, embroidery, jewelry, paintings, hats, the traditional Lele doll, as well as cosmetics and food of natural origin, among other products; artistic and cultural activities will be carried out to the delight of those present in the square.

CRAFTS IN A SHOPPING MALL

He recalled that this will be the second time that artisans present their products in a commercial square, so he thanked the willingness of the entrepreneurs who facilitated this space and who join the effort of the state and municipal authorities to favor the economic reactivation of the artisans, and seek the trade of their products in an orderly manner.
