Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- After the election day that took place on June 6, the contest showed that 6 municipalities will be administered by women.

According to the Preliminary Election Results Program, PREP, the municipalities of Choix, Mocorito, Navolato, Elota, Cosalá and Rosario

In Choix, the Morena-PAS candidate, Amalia Gastélum Barraza, leads with 46 percent of the votes; in Mocorito, María Elizalde Ruela, from Morena-PAS, leads with 33 percent of the votes; in Navolato, Margoth Urrea Pérez, for Morena, leads with 32 percent; in Elota, Ana Karen Medina, from the Labor Party, leads with 57 percent of the votes, while in Cosalá Carla Ursula Corrales, from Morena-PAS, has the advantage with 58 percent.

Likewise, in Rosario, Claudia Liliana Aguilar, from Morena-PAS, leads with 41 percent.
