Starting June 1! People aged 40 to 49 can get vaccinated in Mexico

Health authorities announced that the vaccination stage has already opened the registration stage on the page mivacuna.gob.mx

Mexico’s government opened the next stage in the vaccination COVID-19, with people aged 40 to 49 years old whose registration is open on page mivacuna.gob, mx, unveiled the Director-General of the National Center for Preventive Programs and Disease Control of the Ministry of Health, Ruy López Ridaura.

During the morning conference from the National Palace, he explained that he estimates to vaccinate 11,449,102 people of this age range in the country, who must register to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, whose application begins on June 1.

He pointed out that in addition to starting this new stage, the vaccination of pregnant women and people aged 50 to 59 years will continue concurrently, as well as some part of adults over 60 years of age who have yet to apply even the first dose of the biological.

He stressed that for the new stage priority will be given to the centers in the big cities to cover more population at the beginning in all the municipalities of the country, for this reason, he recognized the support of the roadrunner brigades.

For his part, President López Obrador reiterated the goal for all Mexicans to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by the month of October, just before the winter season begins.

 He affirmed that for this there is a sufficient supply of the vaccine with the increase in shipments during the coming months.
