Once again, Mexican Army personnel is attacked with drone in Aguililla, Michoacan

The Public Ministry of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) initiated an investigation against those responsible for the attack with a drone and explosives against military personnel in the municipality of Aguililla, Michoacán.

In a statement, the federal agency reported that according to the investigation, agents of the Mexican Army, based on a surveillance tour, camped down near the town of El Limoncito where they detected an unmanned aerial vehicle flying over them. an explosive was thrown causing physical injury and material damage to military personnel.

Consequently, officers of the Federal Ministerial Police and Experts of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in different matters, carry out the corresponding actions in order to provide the evidence required by the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), who already integrates the investigation folder indicated by the commission of the crimes of injuries and violation of the Federal Law on Firearms and Explosives.

Staff of the Federal Ministerial Police and Experts of the Prosecutor’s Office reported that this is not the first time that the cartels use drones to attack a military target in the town of Aguililla, Michoacan. In fact, this practice is getting more and more common in that area of the country.
