Cruise Saudi, sets sail to Cozumel

Starting this year, the Mexican Caribbean will receive a new shipping company in CozumelCruise Saudi, a company that is part of the 2021-2025 strategy of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, which focuses on the development of non-oil industries .

The news was confirmed by the same CEO of Cruise Saudi, Fawaz Farooqui, who was in charge of expressing the interest that his ocean liner reaches this Mexican destination. Thus joins others who announced their arrival to the area as Royal Caribbean, MSC, and Carnival, firms confirmed their operation in June and July of 2021.

Cruise Saudi signs agreement

For its part, Royal Caribbean Group extended the suspension of departures from the United States until June 30, however, from other destinations in the world, its cruises will set sail, according to the established itinerary, while others will have date adjustments.

According to information published in various media, the shipping company signed a cooperation agreement with Mediterranean Shipping Company ( MSC ), in April of this year, and it is also expected that in the next few days , Fawaz Farooqui will visit Cozumel, to learn more about the cruise market in this destination.

So far, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC ) of the United States, announced that Cruise Saudi will be able to start operations from the neighboring country in mid-June, following all biosafety protocols, on each vessel.
