This Wednesday, May 12th, the lines were longer both in the pedestrian and car modules. The vaccinations were again finished and the vaccination centers were simply closed.
This situation caused the annoyance of people who waited for hours to be vaccinated.
In the Chipitlan neighborhood, where a walking module was installed in Secondary 4 “Valentín Gómez Farías”, citizens blocked Morelos Avenue demanding to be immunized.
“I was appointed for Tuesday and there were not enough vaccines for all the people who showed up, and today we are waiting here again and they have already closed the module and they do not tell us anything,” said a citizen who participated in the blockade.
In social networks, citizens expressed their concern about not being vaccinated.
For his part, Van Dick Puga assured that there will be vaccines for everyone and if necessary the Vaccination Campaign will be extended until Friday, May 14th.
“Perhaps today it was no possible to vaccinate everyone, but we have enough vaccines for everyone,” he said.
Raúl Anaya Rojas, delegate of Social Welfare in Morelos, asked the population for “understanding and patience”, but mainly to take into account that “the vaccinators are human and have a limit of strength to attend all the people that are showing up to get the vaccine.
