Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Organized by Vallarta Lifestyles Media Group, Restaurant Week has officially begun preparations for its 17th edition. This annual event, which celebrates regional cuisine to delight both residents and visitors of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, will take place on special dates for the second year in a row: from September 15th to October 10th.

“Last year, our festival faced a great challenge, as well as everyone. However, thanks to the willingness of participating restaurants, the event gave a boost to the destination’s gastronomy scene. This year we’ll repeat the same dates, and our goal is to encourage residents and visitors to go to their favorite eateries and/or try new proposals,” says Luis Mendoza, chief operations officer of Vallarta Lifestyles Media Group.

Restaurant Week invites the region’s restaurants to get a membership. The registration is already open and will run through July 10th, 2021. For more information about requirements and guidelines, call 322-221-0106 or email info(at)vlmg.mx.

About Restaurant Week
Restaurant Week provides diners in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit with the opportunity to enjoy fixed-price, innovative, three-course menus (with three options each) at some of the most prestigious restaurants in the destination. The event is inspired by other culinary festivals that take place all over the world and its first edition was held in 2005. From then on, it has positioned itself as one of the tourists’ and foodies’ favorite events.

Restaurant Week happens every year with the support of the national and international promotion of the Riviera Nayarit Visitors and Conventions Bureau, as well as the different authorities of Puerto Vallarta.

The 17th edition of Restaurant Week promises to feature the best local restaurants, which will be offering menus divided into three price categories: $299, $399 and $466 MXN per person. Fees don’t include drinks nor tips. The list of participating restaurants and menus will be available on RestaurantWeekPV.com and facebook.com/RestaurantWeekPV by the beginning of September.
