Given the criminal acts that have been registered in the city in recent days, surveillance in Mazatlán is going to be reinforced, reported Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo.
The Secretary of Security in Sinaloa, attended once the confrontation between the police and a group of hitmen in the Loma Bonita Extension neighborhood was controlled on Thursday afternoon.
“We have already had different events in the southern area and because of that we must have a greater police presence,” he said.
In relation to what happened in the Loma Bonita Expansion, the Secretary of Security in Sinaloa reported that there are 7 people detained, 7 vehicles insured, 8 long weapons seized, including a machine gun, chargers, cartridges and military tactical clothing.
