The former member of the Tijuana and Sinaloa cartels, Filiberto Parra Ramos aka La Perra, was executed in a mechanical workshop in Tijuana, Baja California, on Friday, April 30.

Sources consulted from the State Attorney General’s Office confirmed the identity of this man who was imprisoned for eight years in the federal prison in Oaxaca for organized crime, despite the fact that the DEA and the PGR linked him to the murder of police officers and rivals in the drug traffic

La Perra was part of the organization of the Arellano Félix brothers in the cell of Teodoro García Simental, El Teo , who later split to join the Sinaloa Cartel, under the orders of El Chapo Guzmán. Between 2008 and 2010 there was a war in Tijuana between these cartels that left more than 2,000 deaths.

Filiberto Parra was hit with a 9-millimeter caliber bullet in the head and shoulders in an establishment in the Campos de Tijuana neighborhood and died in an IMSS hospital where he was being treated in an emergency.
