Although in the municipality of Durango there are various advertisements, pages, or publications that offer sex services, the Public Health Directorate only has 130 people registered in its health registry, although in reality there could be more who are not registered.

The director of Municipal Public Health, Cesar Cardosa, said that people who are dedicated to this activity should go to their medical check-ups, to take care of their health and also of the people who request this service.

The registry is made up of 129 women and only one man, and they are required to have a medical check-up every week or every 15 days.

He mentioned that the same people do not always go, because some stop working temporarily, so they do not go to the reviews either, sometimes about a hundred or 115 workers work, but they are those who are already registered.

The sex worker goes to the Sanitary Verification Clinic, where they do a routine check-up and analysis, at a low cost, since they are only asked for a recovery fee.

To register, people must bring their official identification, proof of address and photographs, it is not a complicated procedure but not everyone comes to do it.
