The environment will be 100% safe for visitors during Holy Week.
With the firm commitment to maintaining a clean and sustainable Altamira Beach, as well as to preserve the tourist attractions free of garbage, the Municipal Government of Altamira, started the “Clean Beach 2021” program, with the participation of the Public Services, Tourism, Protection departments Civil, Ecology, and Environment.
Through this cleaning day headed by the president of DIF Altamira, Alma Laura Hernández Amparán, PET, sargassum, palisade containers, among other waste, were collected.
With the use of manual equipment, backhoe machinery and dump trucks, to offer a dignified attraction and with a 100% safe environment to visitors who are expected to come in the next Easter holiday period under the health protocols established by the Secretariat of Health in Tamaulipas.
“Altamira has sustainable ecosystems, such as Tesoro beach, which represents a tourist alternative for all visitors; thank you all very much for joining this great day that allows us to have our beach even cleaner. Tamaulipas is the surprise of Mexico and Tesoro beach is ready to receive you ”, expressed the president of the volunteer service.
Likewise, the authorities exhorted the population that visits Playa Tesoro, to deposit the waste responsibly in the garbage containers installed by the municipal government.
It should be noted that Tesoro beach will remain open to bathers from April 1 to 4, as well as from Friday, April 9 to Sunday, April 11, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., alcoholic drinks are prohibited, handling a maximum capacity of 4 thousand people per day, reserving your visit exclusively through the Buy Tam application.
