With a tour of pneumonia and on foot in the Central Park of Mazatlán and the Sea of ​​Cortés Aquarium, Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel, in the company of the Secretary of Federal Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marqués, supervised the progress of works carried out in said facilities that will be a great attraction for national and international tourism.

After the inauguration of the Tianguis Digital Turístico Mazatlán 2021, the state president visited the facilities under construction of the Central Park, which includes the Sea of ​​Cortez Aquarium, which will become one of the most important in the world, all based on a model as a tourist city that will strengthen the economy of the port.

The Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco, in front of the statue of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, recognized the governor for the work that he has carried out during his administration so that Mazatlán continues in constant growth and beautification with works such as this recreational center and Aquarium that they exploit its benefits.

“We Mexicans have to feel proud because we are one of the few countries that have our own sea that we do not share with anyone other than with all travelers who come nationals and foreigners, who come to be able to rejoice in that great world Aquarium, and better than the Aquarium, which will be the largest in Latin America. The best tourism for Mazatlan is about to begin and of course with the support always of the state governor ”, specified Torruco Marqués.

He also pointed out that another tourist destination that will be added to Mazatlan is the Marías Islands, which will have fast ferries from the port for this great development that will be typical and will strengthen the diversity of attractions.

Quirino emphasized that this new Aquarium will be world class, since it will have exhibition areas to contemplate the reproduction of marine species in their habitats, as well as collections of exceptional fish species, a research laboratory, among other areas that promote the culture of sustainability which is very important.

For his part, the Secretary of Public Works, Osbaldo López Ángulo pointed out the attractions that said park will have.

“It is a park that can be traveled in three ways, via bicycle and bike path. It can also be carried out with walkers, which have 17 arches, and there are also trails on land. It will also have 10 buildings, with classrooms, cafeterias, an esplanade and central square, areas of islets and pedestrian bridges ”, stated the Secretary of Works.

Also present on the tour were the Secretary of Tourism, Óscar Pérez Barros; the Secretary of Economy, Javier Lizárraga Mercado; and the provisional Mayor of Mazatlán, José Manuel Villalobos Jiménez.

They also visit works in El Rosario and Concordia

With the mission of promoting tourism in the municipalities of Rosario and Concordia, Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel, in the company of the Secretary of Tourism of the Federal Government, Miguel Torruco Marqués; the Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa, Óscar Pérez Barros, and both municipal presidents, visited the different urban beautification works that are being carried out.

In his first stop in the municipal seat of El Rosario, together with the provisional mayor, Ricardo Núñez Ríos, the state president pointed out that the historic center has been remodeled with a large investment of 100 million pesos, in addition, it is planned to work on the beautification from the main square.

Likewise, he indicated that the Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marqués, was very interested in learning about the progress of the work and how these Magical Towns have been transformed.

“It is the way to attract more tourism, more people, investments, employment for the people. So what we have to do is for the name of Sinaloa to continue sounding as it is doing, projecting itself, and as a complement the importance of them coming here, to El Rosario, to Concordia ”, he pointed out.

After the tour in the church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario and the Museum that bears the same name, as well as in the Morelos alley, a recreation center in which the artistic mural entitled “20-20 Times of Covid” was captured, Miguel Torruco Marqués expressed his pleasant impression upon observing the beauty of these attractions.

“I was very impressed by the atrium and the gardens of the beautiful 17th century church, we are going to take note and through my cabinet colleagues in a new form of government, try to help through the different instances”, assured the secretary of Tourism.

At night in Concordia, and with the help of the municipal president, Jesús Trinidad Osuna Lizárraga, they supervised the luminaire that was installed in the square and the main streets of the historic center.

The governor made these tours accompanied by his wife Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz, as well as the wife of the Secretary of Tourism, Mrs. Gloria Garza de Torruco.
