The businesses of this line of business have been closed since the Covid-19 Pandemic began

Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur.- The nightlife establishments in Los Cabos have remained inactive throughout the covid-19 pandemic. For this reason, it is essential that they be authorized to open to start generating income.

Robin Hernández president of the Association of Professionals and Business Leaders of Los Cabos said that they have already met with authorities of Fiscal Inspection and the State Commission for the Protection of Sanitary Risks (COEPRIS) in search of obtaining the authorization of those businesses, still closed due to sanitary restrictions.

He explained that the next step is to ask the governor of the state, Carlos Mendoza Davis, that he be the one who gives the consent that they can open the pending businesses.

Regarding his meeting with COEPRIS, Hernández commented that “there were points to review of the centers that need to be opened, specifically we saw the manual, which we have already presented, there the Commission gave us its point of view.”

As for requesting the support of the head of the state executive, he said that it will be next week when he receives his request and there they will detail the protocols that they put together for the opening of nightclubs, canteens, and the “table dance”, so they hope Mendoza Davis understands the importance of having to reopen, said Robin Hernández.

Finally, he added that they should bring “everything prepared with protocols and manuals for bars and discos, now it must also be presented for table dances,” said the promoter of the nightclubs.
