Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- With a capacity of 30% and access only to the beach area, this Sunday, March 21, the archaeological center of Las Labradas, will be open to the public with free access for the celebration of the Spring Equinox.

The San Ignacio City Council called on visitors who like this type of natural celebrations to do so in an orderly manner and following health protocols such as the use of mouth covers at all times, as well as antibacterial gel.

It was reported that ceremonies and the congregation of groups of more than 10 people are prohibited and access will only be allowed to the beach from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a food area in palapas in an area adjacent to the Museum land, for the attention with this service to visitors and for the benefit of the inhabitants of the community of La Chicayota.

Civil Protection, Municipal and State Public Security personnel and the National Guard will be present to prevent any eventuality and monitor compliance with the healthy distance guidelines required by the coronavirus pandemic.

The program of academic activities will be virtual with a series of conferences such as Equinoxes and solstices in Las Labradas, El Jaguar cultural heritage of San Ignacio, The community lands of the town, and the Jesuit mission of Ajoya among others, which will be broadcast on YouTube INAH TV.
