The 38,012 vaccines that remain available in Baja California will be applied in Ensenada

The head of the Ministry of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico, reported this morning that the 38,012 vaccines that remain in Baja California will be applied massively next week in Ensenada. Of this total, 14,955 are from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer and 23,057 from Sinovac.

This would be like what happened in the Mexicali FEX, as mentioned, so that all the divisions of this agency are already evaluating the vaccination sites. He even pointed out that tomorrow they are going to do vaccination exercises (trials) in Ensenada to see the dynamics of both pedestrians and vehicles.

In turn, he commented that they plan to vaccinate the more than 38 thousand adults over 60 years of age in less than five days. At the moment it did not mention the exact date or the massive and peripheral vaccination sites because it seeks to avoid the conglomeration of people in these points, as was observed in Mexicali.

On the other hand, he indicated that vaccination in the state capital will continue, but we are waiting for the next shipment of vaccines, since there are no longer doses for that municipality.

He also said that once the vaccination in Mexicali and Ensenada is finished, Tijuana will continue, adding that the multiple and massive vaccination points for the border city are already being determined.

As of this Saturday, 82,371 adults over 60 have been vaccinated in Baja California.
