The requirements are that you have an expired FMM tourist visa or an expired residency card. You do not need to provide bank statements or financials. I have been taking groups from Mexico City to Queretaro and back, with an overnight needed in Queretaro so we can get to immigration early the next day.

A second trip is required to pick up your card about 2 weeks later. You can apply for 1, 2, 3, or 4 years of temporary residency. Send me a PM if you are interested in joining a trip or want more details.

If you are not in Mexico City, that’s fine – you’ll have to meet us in Queretaro on your own power, or come to CDMX from Oaxaca to join us. So far, everyone has successfully obtained their residency cards under this program.

Next trip will be for April 8th/9th and again April 22nd/23rd.
