Culiacán, Sinaloa. – On Wednesday morning, more than 32 thousand Pfizer vaccines were received for the states of Sinaloa and Chihuahua, which will serve to continue with the vaccination process in the fight against the COVID-19 virus.
The Secretary of Health in Sinaloa, Dr. Efrén Encinas Torres, reported that a total of 32,175 doses were received at the International Airport of the city of Culiacán, of which 18,662 vaccines will be distributed in the state of Sinaloa and 13,513 will be protected for the state of Chihuahua, highlighting that with the arrival of two remittances per week, significant progress is made in the vaccination process in Sinaloa.

The vaccines will be stored in the freezers of the Faculty of Biological Chemical Sciences of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa to, in due course, be sent to the municipalities that will benefit from them.
He reiterated that the vaccine comes in excellent condition and all the protocols were reviewed so that they continue until its application in the arm of the Sinaloans.
With this delivery of vaccines by the federation to the state, there will already be 12 municipalities that will have started the vaccination process for older adults, likewise, the application of the vaccine to the rest of the health sector personnel will continue so that, gradually, comply with this process.
The vaccine was received and protected by the members of the State Vaccination Command, Dr. Rafael López Ocaña, Ing. José Jaime Montes Salas, and Dr. Gerardo Alapizco, in addition to the members of the armed forces.
