More than 4 million 691 thousand vaccines against Covid-19 have arrived in Mexico

Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon, Secretary of Foreign Relations ( SRE ), reported this Tuesday (2), that to date Mexico has received 4 million 691 thousand 775 doses of vaccines against the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a press conference led by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the Foreign Minister indicated that 2 million 621 thousand 775 vaccines have arrived in Mexico from the Pfizer laboratories, and 870 thousand doses of AstraZeneca, through the Serological Institute of India.

The secretary indicated that one million doses of Sinovac and 200 thousand of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine have also arrived.

In the National Palace, the foreign minister announced that on March 5, 600 thousand 600 doses will arrive from the Pfizer laboratories, and from the Covax portfolio it is expected that between March and May 5 million 532 thousand doses of AstraZeneca will arrive.

A next shipment of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine is also expected to arrive in our country at the end of March.
