San Miguel carrier who transported tourists without QR code will be sanctioned

San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.- “The transportation service provider who was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 14th, carrying tourists in a bus that did not have the QR code will be sanctioned,” announced the local government.

Agents attached to the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) detained an urban transport bus that was trying to enter the municipality of San Miguel carrying visitors, who did not have a QR code to justify their entry into the city; the concessionaire whose operator performed this action will be penalized.

Through an anonymous report to the 911 Emergency Number, these events were denounced, immediately officers of the Municipal Police, Transit and Civil Protection who were in the sanitary filter located at the exit to Guanajuato were alerted ( on one side of the old train station), they immediately proceeded to stop the bus.

The passengers were identified as tourists from Tamaulipas, who did not have the QR code that is requested as part of the municipal protocols; therefore, they had to vacate the unit and return to the bus in which they were traveling, which was stored in a warehouse in the community of La Esperanza.
