San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas.- Agents of the Municipal Police arrested Francisco Humberto “NN”, 40 years old, and made him available to the public prosecutor of the District Attorney’s Office, just minutes after he had allegedly sexually abused a woman from the Jardines del Sur neighborhood, in San Cristóbal de Las Casas.
The events occurred on Wednesday. Feb. 10th, at night, when residents of the place, through the 911 emergency number, requested the presence of the police, because a woman, named Claudia María “NN”, 31, had been raped and was being physically assaulted.
Immediately, the uniformed officers implemented a rescue operation to locate the victim, locating him on the main street of the Jardines del Sur neighborhood, where the aggressor continued to physically attack his victim, but upon noticing the arrival of the patrol cars, he tried to flee the scene on foot but was caught by police officers minutes later.
When he was surrounded by the Municipal Police, the aggressor managed to enter the courtyard of a home, where he was secured without resisting, later he was transferred to the facilities of the Altos District Prosecutor’s Office, accused of the crime of rape, the victim Claudia María “NN”, is accusing him, and his legal situation will be defined in the next few hours.
