Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The State Government and the Secretary of Health in Sinaloa, denied a news item where they allegedly warn of the increase in the occupation of beds by Covid-19 patients, in Mazatlán.

Currently the port of Mazatlán registers 68 cases of Covid-19, being the fourth municipality in Sinaloa with the most cases.

In the first place is Culiacán, with 397 cases; followed by Guasave with 154 cases, and Ahome with 98 cases.

The Sinaloa Ministry of Health reports in its count for this Wednesday, 104 new cases of Covid-19.

The technical file indicates that of these new patients, 52 belong to Culiacán, 17 are for Mazatlán, 12 from Guasave, 6 for Ahome, while for Salvador Alvarado and Sinaloa there are 4 for each, Badiraguato and San Ignacio each also registered one.

With this number, there have already been a total of 28,185 patients since the start of the pandemic.

According to the information card of the state agency, there are 906 active patients in Sinaloa, 22,844 patients have been recovered, 4,435 people have died and 1,115 are found as suspects.

The information from the Covid map that is published this day informs that the four municipalities with the most cases, Culiacán continues to lead with 464 infections, Guasave follows with 149, in third place is Ahome with 101 infections and in fourth place is Mazatlán with a considerable increase with 88 cases.
