Aeroméxico removes flights due to low demand from travelers in Campeche

The end of the holiday season and the pandemic motivated this measure.

With the end of the December holiday season and the low demand from travelers, the airline Aeroméxico eliminated its evening run Mexico City-Campeche and vice versa, remaining only with morning hours.

As happened in 2020, when the pandemic began to close air and ground terminals, the airline internally notified its staff of the closure of runs due to the low demand for tickets, one of the reasons is the continuity of the pandemic in the country.

Although they have not revealed on this occasion how many planes the reduction will be, in Campeche, Aeromexico already reported through ist official website the continuity of only one flight schedule, being the arrival of Mexico City at 6:30 in the morning and the return departure at 7:20 am.

Viva Aerobús and Volaris will remain in operation in a flight in the same way, while Interjet remains on strike (although in Campeche for about four months they stopped operating).
