US Consulate in Tijuana Announces Vacancy for “Housing Coordinator”

Whoever meets the requirements and is selected can earn more than 300 thousand Mexican pesos

Once again, the Consulate General of the United States in Tijuana reported a vacancy available for its facilities. This time it is a “Housing Coordinator”.

Those interested who have the following requirements may apply for this position before September 30, 2021, which are offered a salary of up to 305 thousand 040 Mexican pesos (it is not specified if it is annual), with a schedule of full time (40 hours per week).

Requirements include: Three years of experience in office or maintenance operations, completed secondary school, fluent English and limited Spanish. Additionally, you must have a valid US or Mexican driver’s license, and must be able to drive a passenger vehicle.

Some of the benefits offered are: health and life insurance, paid holidays in the United States and Mexico (20 per year approx.), As well as 12 vacation days per year, paid sick leave, affiliation to IMSS, AFORE and INFONAVIT; and opportunities to travel abroad for training and more.

  • Language proficiency certification (s)
  • Permanent residence permit from the “National Migration Institute” or Proof of Mexican Citizenship
  • Valid driver’s license. Please note that this is an incidental driver position, so you must have driven vehicles for at least five (5) years to be qualified
