“Thanks to the management actions that resulted in the next execution of the Huasteca Comprehensive Project that will begin in the first quarter of 2021, this region of San Luis Potosí will be a national benchmark in the field of nature tourism, in addition to triggering the attractions and encourage the responsible arrival of visitors”, said the Secretary of State Tourism, Arturo Esper Sulaimán.

“It is great news, we will be working on it, it is a really relevant plan, a strategy for the interior of the State that will increase tourism and the economic benefit of the area but taking care of the sustainability of the sites,” he stated.

The Project was agreed upon between the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and the Governor of the State of San Luis Potosí, Juan Manuel Carreras López , within the framework of the presidential announcement for the construction of the new Huasteca Potosina airport .

As part of this project, in terms of infrastructure, the Valles-Tamazunchale highway has been modernized, which undoubtedly contributes to better connectivity for visitors and locals; as well as the National Airport of the Huasteca that next year will begin its construction’s first stage.
