The state of Durango is located in the central-northeastern part of the country, it has a great natural diversity and unforgettable landscapes, which include desert, canyons, forests and grottoes, which have made it the favorite destination of filmmakers from all over the world to be the setting for a large number of films.

The first Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) of Durango is Mapimí, which has a great mining heritage and proof of this is the Mina Santa Rita (Santa Rita Mine); you can also discover the Grutas del Rosario (Rosario Grottoes) and go on an expedition through its underground world. Nombre de Dios is the oldest town in the state and is well known for its beautiful landscapes, history, and delicious cuisine.

If you like western movies, you cannot miss San Vicente Chupaderos, where several productions of this genre have been filmed. Among its streets and facades you will feel like the protagonist of a Hollywood movie.
