Nayarit nurses will help to fight against Covid-19 in CDMX

Tepic, Nayarit. A medical response team made up of 3 nurses and 2 Nayarit nurses from the Mexican Institute of Social Security, left on Friday for Mexico City to support their colleagues in the fight against Covid-19 with their knowledge and physical presence, all of them go to the front row of confrontation with the pandemic that has paralyzed the world.

Convinced that what they learned during their student years is to support and benefit society, these nurses said goodbye to their families and departed on a flight that left the Amado Nervo airport, located in the municipality of Xalisco, to Mexico City. 

Before leaving, they asked the general population to stay at home during these Christmas holidays, to refrain from going to events where there is a large number of people, and to take care of the preventive measures that have been issued by the Ministry of Health.

The head of the IMSS in Nayarit, Jorge Martínez Torres, said that the members of this medical team, “leave their entire family, their well-being in order to support the health of the inhabitants of Mexico City,” he thanked the availability and courage that is in each of them despite putting their own life at risk.
