WE DON’T HAVE A CHRISTMAS TREE… LET’S MAKE ONE OF CORN!

Many people on social networks recognized the talent and expressed their admiration for the farmer’s creativity.

JONUTA, TABASCO.- Faced with the losses caused by the pandemic and floods this year, a farmer chose to make his family happy with a gorgeous looking Christmas tree made with corn cobs.

In order to give an idea to the farmers of the state of Tabasco (home state of president Andrés Manuel López Obrador), of how to celebrate Christmas in an austere way, Luis Ayala, the farmer from Jonuta, Tabasco came up with a unique proposal “corn-pines”..

“We know that the crises triggered by the pandemic and the floods were brutal, so at this time it is a good idea to make Christmas trees out of corn cobs,” the farmer said. He indicated that the idea is not to lose the Christmas spirit.

“I wish everyone could celebrate this Christmas in a peaceful and dignified way, but we know that there will be families who will have nothing to celebrate,” he said.

However, many people recognized his idea and praised his creativity.
