Sonora municipalities with the highest risk of contagion by covid-19 in the state

Sonora.- This Saturday, the Ministry of Health in Sonora presented the first edition of the Map Sonora Anticipa, where it disclosed the risk level of 10 municipalities based on 10 covid-19 indicators: four hospitalizations, four contagions, and two for mortality.

The data produced by the Map Anticipa Sonora will be valid for one week and will be changed every Saturday at 12:00 noon, so the table of recommendations will also change each week for the municipalities, according to their level of risk.

The map revealed the following for the municipalities: San Luis Río Colorado, high risk; Caborca, medium risk; Hermosillo, high risk; Guaymas, medium risk; Cajeme, high risk; Puerto Peñasco, medium risk; Nogales, high risk; Agua Prieta, high risk; Cananea, high risk; Navojoa, high risk.

In addition to presenting the risk levels in the municipalities, the Secretary of Health, Enrique Clausen Iberri, explained that “zero zones” were added: neighborhoods with higher risk and where efforts to prevent infections should be focused.

In this sense, the zero zones corresponding to each of the 10 municipalities that currently make up this agreement are the following:

Hermosillo: International, Sahuaro, Choyal, Lomas de Madrid, Pueblitos, Las Quintas, Nueva Galicia, Centro, Palo Verde and Altares.

Cajeme : Nuevo Cajeme, Matías Méndez, Fovissste, Nueva Palmita, Villas del Real, Villas del Sol, Constitución.

Nogales : Esperanza, Centro, Chula Vista, Deportiva, Las Torres.

San Luis Río Colorado : Jalisco, Progreso, Colonial Villa.

Guaymas : Luis Donaldo Colosio, Palmas, Miramar, Atardeceres, Montelolita, Bureaucrat, San José, Journalist.
