In the municipality of León, nearly a thousand workers returned and 5,000 in the rest of the state of Guanajuato
Almost a week after the traffic light for economic reactivation in the state of Guanajuato changed to yellow, more than 6 thousand people working in bars and canteens have been able to resume activities in the entity, as confirmed by the president of Bars and Cantinas in Javier Quiroga.
“Approximately 1 thousand people were incorporated into the municipality already to work and in the state around 6 thousand people,” he commented.
He also commented that the hiring of personnel for this area intensified in the middle of the week because during the weekend these establishments were going to reopen and they had to adapt to health measures.
“This week was in that sense, but of course the enthusiasm to be able to start working was very rekindled,” he commented.
Javier Quiroga stressed that the union’s associates have maintained their enthusiasm with the reopening of their businesses, since reactivation was very important for the union, so they had to speak with the staff to make an escalated recruitment schedule.
Currently, the bars and canteens in the state of Guanajuato continue to work with a capacity of 50 percent, as is permitted, and about 75 percent have managed to reopen their doors, the equivalent of 900 businesses.
