State of Sinaloa: Fall 2020 Cultural Season

The cultural program that will make up the 2020 Fall Cultural Season in Sinaloa was announced by the state government.

Culiacan, Sinaloa.- From October 15 to December 17, the Fall 2020 Cultural Season will be held by the Sinaloa Institute of Culture, featuring face-to-face and virtual events.

At a press conference in the city of Culiacán, Papik Ramírez Bernal the head of the ISIC announced the agenda of events that will be carried out under strict sanitary measures by Civil Protection through the Secretary of Health.

Ramírez Bernal revealed that the activities will take place over 64 days in eight municipalities in person, with 746 participants.

He also indicated that there are 10 cultural programs and that in the 18 municipalities of the state, virtual activities will be carried out.

Regarding the activities, the official indicated that there will be 78 for musical events, and 48 involving dance. He also mentioned that it was determined by the organizing committee that all the participating groups must be from Sinaloa to compensate for the crisis they are going through because most of them are currently unemployed.
