Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Six months after the health contingency due to Covid-19, the real estate sector in Mazatlán is reactivated, revealed AMPI President Luis Enrique Peraza.

The president of the Mazatlan Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals recalled that in March vacation rentals fell sharply to 90%, and it was not until July that it began to reactivate with the opening of the beaches and the return of national tourists.

The real estate sector of Mazatlán begins to reactivate.

“In July and August, activity rebounded, mainly in the rental of condos and houses, it remained at up to 65%, an amount that I consider very good compared to the situation that exists as a result of the quarantine,” he said.

Peraza Reyes indicated that the arrival of the Mazatlán FC soccer team caused a movement since the players and the coaching staff had to rent houses and apartments.

He assured that despite the pandemic, the towers and condominiums under construction did not stop, which is a good indicator for the port, so that several projects are about to be completed.

The real estate leader trusted that this year will have a good closing with property sales and are currently preparing to hold the 2020 Tourism Summit which will take place on December 3 and 4 virtually, where all the country’s real estate agents and others parts of the world will be able to join the videoconferences, which will announce the investments that exist in the municipality and its main attractions.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa will host the 2020 Tourism Summit of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) which is a beach congress where investors from all over the world come to Mexico to through the National AMPI to know the areas of added value of the tourism sector and invest.

During the Tourism Summit 2020, conferences will be offered whose purpose is to publicize the current situation of the state of Sinaloa in terms of real estate development and from there on investment and vacation trends.

Without a doubt, having won the headquarters of the Tourism Summit 2020 on destinations such as Cancun, Huatulco and Puerto Vallarta, places Mazatlán as a destination in trend, with vision and a leader in real estate investment.
