Durango, DGO.- After more than 2 months of being closed to tourism, Durango is ready to receive visitors from July 1, in a responsible manner, with all the health and safety measures in the different spaces tourism of the entity, announced the governor of Durango, José Rosas Aispuro Torres, and the secretary of Tourism of that state, Eleazar Gamboa de la Parra, indicated in a bulletin.
At a press conference held in this city, to publicize the details of the tourist reopening of Sinaloa and Durango, along with Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel and the mayors of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez, and Adrián Chaparro, of Pueblo Nuevo, Durango Rosas Aispuro highlighted the importance of sharing and standardizing protocols, which will include the installation of sanitary filters in the access to the entity, in addition to the corresponding sanitary certifications in hotels and all tourist amenities.
This includes ecotourism centers, which are already ready with their cabins, as well as hotels and restaurants, with protocols to guarantee the health of visitors and workers.
For his part, Gamboa indicated that Durango is the Ideal vacation destination, after the COVID-19 quarantine, since it has outdoor spaces, cabins with all services in the Sierra Madre Occidental, a spectacular climate and above all excellent services to guarantee your health just 2 hours from Mazatlán.
After the Federal and state governments authorized the reopening of the sector so that it can operate at 30% of its capacity in hotels, he said, restaurants and other businesses in this area, this will be the new normal, “the reopening will take place gradually and abiding by sanitation measures ”.
He mentioned that various attractions such as the theme park, Paseo del Viejo Oeste are already ready for the reopening with all measures, to receive and entertain those who visit it, with its renewed shows of cowboys, Indians, and cancan dancers
