The mayor of Puerto Vallarta, Arturo Dávalos Peña, announced that this Monday the local population will be able to attend the beaches of the municipality, by official order of the Government of Jalisco, this as a measure to revive tourism in the region.

In an image uploaded to his social networks, he invited everyone to follow the disinfection protocols to go to these public spaces.

The foregoing means the end of more than 90 days of closure on the beaches, where the Municipal and Tourist Police monitored and prevented the entry of people, however, the elements will withdraw from the Vallarta coastline and return to their conventional tasks of public security.

It is worth mentioning that the Governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro, announced this Friday morning that swimming pools and beaches would be opened to tourism and common hotel areas by up to 30% since it was necessary to reactivate the economy through tourism.

Subsequently, starting Monday, protocols will be established so that later they can open piers, spas, gyms, and shopping centers, while the reopening of clubs, bars, canteens, and nightclubs is not currently under discussion.
