Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and the Los Cabos area will open
to tourists in June, 2020.

Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and the Los Cabos area are closed to tourism through June, 2020 in order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). No official opening date has yet been announced, however hotels, restaurants, tours and attractions are preparing to reopen to tourists in June, 2020. The exact date is yet to be determined, but is expected to be in mid-June.

Currently the entire area is implementing strict sanitary and health protocols in order to provide guests with as safe and secure of an environment as possible.

WE ARE OPEN

We are open and taking bookings 7 days a week for all our Airport TransfersAdventures and Groups. You can book securely online through our website 24/7.

There is never a charge to change your dates, and if for any reason your trip is delayed or cancelled due to COVID-19, you can cancel your tours and excursions free of charge. There is no risk to book with us.

Most businesses including hotels will be closed until mid-June, so we advise to plan your visit sometime after that for the best experience.

Our Advice:

After having been closed due to COVID-19 prevention measures, the businesses will love to welcome you as soon as possible after reopening in June. Certainly your tourist dollars are incredibly important to the community right now. However, like everywhere, the reopening will be gradual, so if visiting in June, things will likely be quieter than usual and not all the amenities you’re used to may be available.

But there are some Outstanding Hotel and Flight Deals to be had right now that might not be there later on so it is well worth your consideration and surely the locals in Cabo will be so happy to see you.

Bars & Restaurants —

Restaurants and bars in Cabo are currently operating for take-out and delivery only. They are putting into place strict health protocols for the safety of employees and guests, and expect to reopen table service on June 15th or shortly thereafter.

Restaurants will be limited to 4 people per 10 square meters, and all restaurants must be certified by the health authorities as meeting the new protocols prior to reopening.

Activities —

All our Tours, Fishing, Water Activities and Excursions will reopen together with the hotels on June 15th or shortly thereafter.

There are a variety of new health protocols for all tours and activities, including:

  • Load capacity will be limited to 50% in order to provide sufficient social distancing.
  • Large groups will be split into smaller groups with a group leader in order to keep a safe distance.
  • Advanced disinfecting and sanitizing of vehicles and equipment.
  • Daily record of employee temperatures.
  • Hand Sanitizer available in all areas.

All activities must be certified by the health authorities as meeting the new anti-COVID protocols prior to reopening, and expect to do so on time.

We are open 7 days a week to assist you, and are currently accepting bookings for all activities and transportation for June travel dates and beyond.

Cruise Ships —

While the cruise ship port of Cabo San Lucas will be reopened in June, cruise ship season in Cabo is already over, and even on normal years we only see a weekly visit from Carnival until September with an occasional visit from another cruise line like Oceania Insignia. For this reason we shouldn’t really see that much difference in the cruise passenger traffic during the relatively cruise-free summer season. However there are some changes due to COVID-19 and restrictions by the CDC in the US:

  • Carnival Panorama’s weekly visits have been postponed until September 5th.
  • Oceania Insignia is still scheduled to visit on July 8th.
  • All other cruises are still on schedule to resume on schedule in September as normal
