The tourism sector is working on its preparation for its reactivation, we will follow the health guidelines: Óscar Pérez Barros, Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa.

The head of the Ministry of Tourism, Óscar Pérez Barros reported that he has been working with the hotel sector, where thanks to the coordinated effort and commitment of all hoteliers in the 18 municipalities, progress is already being made in the implementation of the Health Distinction for lodging centers.

“We are working hand in hand: hoteliers, municipalities, state government, so that health is taken care of first and foremost, both for employees and tourists. It is very important that we all handle hygiene standards, that we are careful and responsible in this new way of life. This week the first badges will be delivered to hotels that have already met all the requirements. ”

He recognized the great effort that hotel entrepreneurs are making, “there are hotels that are working not only in the Distintivo de Sanidad, but they are going for other certifications such as Preverisk in Mazatlán, which is a validation of international standards that will help a lot to give certainty to international marketing ”.

In the same way, he commented that in coordination with Canirac Sinaloa, today the Health Badge will be launched to serve diners, which will be implemented throughout the State.

“We are going to standardize the hygiene processes in all the links of the sector, we are highly motivated with the great willingness of all the actors to have safe and healthy tourist destinations”.

Regarding the opening date, he commented that they are preparing for June 7, hoping that by then the traffic light has changed “the opening will be staggered and orderly, we have the tentative date, but we will always follow the guidelines that we check the Ministry of Health ”.
