K-9 units discover drug hidden in bottles of “salsa”

The “K-9 police officers” made the discovery in a courier and parcel company, the shipment was bound to Jalisco, Mexico.

In a courier and parcel company in Culiacán, Sinaloa, members of the National Guard with the support of canine officers, located around 3.6 kilograms of apparent methamphetamine that was hidden in six cans labeled as “salsa“.

In the boarding area of ​​the company, the dogs specialized in the detection of narcotics, firearms and paper money, scored positive on two cardboard boxes that transported cans apparently with sauce and that were destined for the state of Jalisco.

After thoroughly reviewing the packages, they found in each of the cans a plastic packaging that contained a granular substance with characteristics similar to methamphetamine.

The cans along with the drug were placed at the disposal of the Agent of the Federal Public Ministry, who will carry out the corresponding investigations.
