In a warehouse on Raúl Rangel Frías Avenue, located next to a headquarters in Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma, employees said that since 10:00 a.m., there are lines of at least 10 vehicles to buy beer.

” Up to 20 covers people take, ” said a worker as he loaded some cardboard into a truck.

He added that these sales only occur when there will be a dry law.

The employee commented that he has no information that beer production will be suspended and that more will come on Friday, but people were scared by the news.

Interviewed clients agreed that they come to buy “if in doubt.”

In the morning, the rumor circulated that the Heineken Mexico plants, formerly Cervecería Cuauhtémoc, could temporarily stop their production starting next Friday, April 3, but the company has not confirmed this version.

Heineken México has 5 plants in the Country located in Monterrey, Nuevo León; Meoqui, Chihuahua; Tecate, Baja California; Toluca, State of Mexico and that of Orizaba, Veracruz.

Among the brands, it produces in the country are Heineken, Tecate, Sol, Indio, Carta Blanca, Dos Equis, Bohemia, among others.
