“We are taking preventive actions aligned to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and state and federal health organizations to minimize the spread and risk of contagion of the new Covid-19 in the population,” he reported.
The preventive action plan is based on 3 stages, the first is before addressing, where any possible case or suspected contagion will be reported; the second, during boarding and crossing.
“Our doctors will take the temperature of each passenger and determine whether or not they can travel based on the symptoms and health conditions they present. If necessary, we will reschedule your trip ”, added the shipping company.
Supplies such as mouth guards and antibacterial gel are found in each of the ships, which will be used only if necessary; likewise, the physical contact of the crew with the passengers will be avoided.
Likewise, periodic and additional sanitation actions will be carried out during the trip, to reduce the risks of contagion, in addition to providing information on the recommendations issued by the Health authorities.
“If for any reason during the trip any passenger will show symptoms, we have doctors on board for their care and spaces that can be isolated to avoid possible spread,” he said.
The third stage is carried out upon disembarkation, which includes informing the authorities if any passenger presented symptoms, as well as cleaning and disinfecting actions in all areas of the ship, as well as the equipment.
