Durango Governor José Rosas Aispuro received Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard in the state capital for the inauguration of the new offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores: SRE).
Both officials confirmed the importance of protecting compatriots in Mexico and the United States, confirming that it is part of the public policy of foreign relations of the Fourth Transformation.
The inauguration took place in the offices located inside the Paseo Durango shopping center, with the presence of authorities from the three government orders.
Governor Aispuro Torres explained the importance of having a SRE office in town, for the attention of those who need to carry out some procedure.
He said that all services will be granted to Duranguenses for proper attention, since according to the Bank of Mexico (Banxico), Durango is located within the 10 states nationwide with the highest income from remittances, with more than 870 million US dollars in remittances during 2019.
