Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The head of the Ministry of Tourism of Sinaloa (Sectur), Óscar Pérez Barros, stressed that this body is in favor of the events that promote this activity and recognized that it would support the two events of the Motorcycle Week if both were to be made.
It should be remembered that the City Council of Mazatlan on this occasion helped to organize the official event, but weeks earlier than usual, that is, from March 12 to 15 and not during Easter Week, as traditionally happened. Given this, groups of motorcyclists have expressed interest in holding an alternate event during the days after Holy Week.
“I believe that all the motives and all the events that come to Mazatlan are welcome and we have to support them and we have to get on the boat, be it (event) or Easter Week, we both have to support them,” he said. Pérez Barros.
The state official stressed that in the event that will be presented in March there will be a concert by Caifanes, which he applauded as he said that this will attract visitors from different sites.
He also guaranteed that motorcyclists and fans will continue to go to Mazatlan to enjoy these days.
“People who came to enjoy Motorcycle Week – official or unofficial – who can come: will do it,” said the head of the Sectur.
