Sinaloa athlete obtains pass to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Luz Daniela Gaxiola from Sinaloa, obtained a place to compete in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

She will compete in the doubles category, with Jessica Salazar. They are currently sixth at international level, in the speed by teams of the Track Cycling World Championship.

The 2020 UCI Track World Championships take place in Berlin, Germany, from 26 February–1 March 2020.

Sinaloan athlete Luz Daniela Gaxiola González, and Jessica Salazar Valles, from Jalisco, achieved a great result in the team speed test, and took the sixth place and the Olympic spot for Tokyo 2020.

Both competitors represent Mexico in the World Cycling Championship 2020, based in Berlin, Germany.

The international official event that is scheduled to end on March 1st, will define more “passports” for the next Tokyo 2020 Olympics that will begin on July 24 (if not cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak in China).
