The construction of a road to connect Badiguarato, Sinaloa, with Guadalupe and Calvo in Chihuahua will also be carried out.

“This is in what has been called the golden triangle, it is a region, we are going to say, stigmatized, but people are working, producing and have always been forgotten, marginalization. As part of the strategy to calm the country we are serving these regions, always marginalized. Small communities of Sinaloa, Durango, Chihuahua. Sembrando Vida is also being applied in this region, ”said the president at the morning press conference.

For this infrastructure project, an investment of 930 million pesos will be made.

Badiguarato has been a place known in recent decades for the planting and transfer of drugs, in addition to Joaquín Guzmán Loera, alias, “El Chapo, the best known Mexican drug trafficker at the international level.

As support, López Obrador said that during this year the resources will be extended to the field so that 50 thousand people can plant 100 thousand hectares.
