Sinaloa.-  In Sinaloa as of January 2020, 11 thousand 585 new jobs were generated before the IMSS compared to the same period of 2019, said the Secretary of Economy of the Sinaloa government, Javier Lizárraga Mercado.

The annual rate of growth in employment in Sinaloa at January 2020 was 2.0% compared to the same month of 2019, while at the national level the growth was 1.6%

In January Sinaloa was in the 9th. place as the state with the highest growth and employment generation of the 32 states.

The IMSS employment figures for January indicate that in Sinaloa there are a total of 580 thousand 209 insured workers (2.8 of the national total).

The head of State Economy Javier Lizárraga Mercado, said that the instruction of Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel by 2020, is to close strong and have imagination and talent in continuing to diversify the State with investment strategies, now that availability is already available of natural gas, electricity, and water.

“We will continue working on the opportunities so that not only new jobs arrive but well paid, in strategies and public policies that allow us together with the State Congress and Secretariats to diversify Sinaloa in its economy, travel heavily in the secondary sector, bring 21% that today represents the secondary sector of the activity in the Gross Domestic Product at the state level, when at the national level it is 33%, we have 11 points to transit without neglecting the primary activity of the entity, ”he said.

For the Director of the National Employment Service in Sinaloa, Arturo Torres Sato, linking to vacancies is an everyday job of the Government of Sinaloa and the Ministry of Economy.

“Through the Empléate Sub Program, we are generating a support policy where there is much strengthening in placement through job boards and job fairs. We have done regional, municipal and special fairs, particularly in geographical areas, this is due to the different needs that some companies have to do the recruitment in this case, through Mobile Employment that can be the trucks in the Puro Sinaloa Days, where we offer jobs and vacancies in that area, ”he said.

He also informed that the strategy to bring employment options to people in the communities and colonies, is through workshops, where they are given technical and ex officio training, and they are given tools so that they can be linked to companies and with it strengthen the formal employment registration policy.
